Greetings Brothers,

ON APRIL 16, 1949, Brother Tellis B. Ellis chartered the Gamma Rho Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated on the campus of Tougaloo College. As Gamma Rho Initiates, we are members of not only an illustrious Fraternity, but we are among an elite group of individuals who can call GAMMA RHO their own.

A few things that a Kappa man holds dear to his heart are God, family, education and Kappa. As we all have been consumed with our personal lives, the latter of the aforementioned has likely taken a back seat to all else. In the meanwhile, Gamma Rho has lived on and bred many more successful African American men.

ON APRIL 16, 2009, the Gamma Rho Chapter will turn 60 years old. It is my request to have you join all other Gamma Rho initiates in a celebration to commemorate 60 years of achievement through PHI NU PI!

This celebration will be held in Jackson, Mississippi during the weekend of May 8-10, 2009. By clicking the above "Events" link, you can view the events for the weekend as planned.

To make this event a success, we will need your attendance. Further, we are asking all brothers to contribute $75.00. This fee will cover food and beverages for the barbecue, a commemorative 60th Anniversary T-Shirt, and help lay the foundation for bigger and better reunions for years to come.

Fill out a registration form so we can have your T-Shirt size and know how many guests to expect. Also, payment is available electronically via Paypal if you're techno savvy... but if not, we accept checks. Make them out to Gamma Rho Reunion and send to P.O. Box 737, Tougaloo, MS 39174.

I charge you to contribute, attend and enjoy, as we will be “Uniting our Past for a Better Future.”
